I didn't become financially free until I was 40. As a US citizen, I got a home equity loan, which had a lower interest rate than other loans. By being patient and careful with my money, I reinvested my earnings and avoided making quick decisions. This approach helped me build my wealth, and I was able to buy my 3rd home and a new car. You both seem genuine, but I'm not sure how this is "step by step" at all when I'm 14 minutes in and these three questions aren't answered: 1. How did he find the land or deal? 2. How did he get investors? 3. What specific sacrifices did he make? If anything, without knowing how to put together the investment or at least how he put together his investment, I'm confused how I'm supposed to get passed step one. The rest seems not at useful and it does seem to confuse me as to the overall intent of the interview. A headline is a commitment and I don't see that being delivered upon. Without that, this is just entertainment and dreams, not education. Did I miss something?
